More fun than I expected!
I was pleasantly surprised by my stay! The room was spacious, and the location made it easy to explore the exciting nearby attractions. While I enjoyed the local scene's character, being in a neighborhood where I saw some unsettling sights did raise concerns. But with that said, for the price, it definitely felt worthwhile!

Yo, the local eats near La Quinta are fire! I hit up Tabor Ethiopian Restaurant and it was a flavor explosion. Faidley Seafood's crab cakes gave me life! The cozy vibes in the lobby were a nice touch too.
But, man, the location is sketchy with some shady folks lurking. The first room had a busted AC, and the breakfast spread was a total letdown—microwaveable eggs and stale bagels? No thanks!

Convenient location but safety concerns
I appreciated the hotel's easy access to the Inner Harbor and nearby restaurants, making it great for exploring the city. However, the surrounding neighborhood raised significant safety concerns, especially regarding street activity that made me uncomfortable during my stay.

It was great to unwind by the poolside and take advantage of the cozy lounge area. The elevator was a bit slow, but it didn’t really take away from our overall fun experience! 😊

The cozy lobby has an inviting fireplace, perfect for a warm-up after roaming around. Local eateries nearby, like the seafood spot with crabcakes, provide a delightful dining experience.
The location feels sketchy, with a lot of strange characters hanging around, especially during the day. The first room had ineffective AC, making me uncomfortable right off the bat. Breakfast options are severely lacking. it was just stale bagels and microwaveable eggs, which didn’t cut it. Another downside is the absence of parking. if you plan on driving, be prepared to seek alternate locations elsewhere. Honestly, I felt a bit uneasy walking around due to the trash and the general vibe of the area.

Unexpected troubles on a short stay
The staff were genuinely kind and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. The quick access to local attractions was a delightful surprise!
Unfortunately, the noise from slamming doors and an unsettling neighborhood made it hard to relax. The parking situation was quite stressful and not well communicated.

The professional and helpful staff made a significant positive impact during my stay, particularly the morning front desk manager. Enjoying a clean room with a shining bathroom added to the experience. However, the location involves a longer walk to the harbor, which may not suit everyone, especially those preferring upscale surroundings. Additionally, the room doors seemed outdated and could use an upgrade.
